3-14-05 Hello! Like any other schmuck with a website, for some reason I find it necessary to load up a page with my own thoughts and my own take on life. So what makes me qualified to do this? Good question - don't expect me to answer it. For starters, I don't know of many places out there - TV, radio, or Internet - where one can find relevant and/or fun information about sportscards. Collecting is a great hobby, one that I love, and hopefully I can create some entertaining and logical columns about cards from all the disjointed thoughts in my head. There is some good banter on PSA's Message Boards, but that can get pretty specific and can turn chatty like any other message board. Not that I just intend to write about cards. Far from it. I might want to see if anyone else heard the stupid comment that flew out of Bill Walton's mouth the night before. I want to inspire people to think occasionally and laugh frequently. Like Jackie Robinson said, "Life isn't important, except for the impact it has on other people's lives." So I suppose I just want to try and impact some people out there, even if in a small way. That being said, please e-mail me with any questions or comments. I won't put you on a mailing list or give you the hard sell on any cards. If I had to choose between selling tons of cards on this site or getting a mountain of e-mails from entertained readers, I would opt for the latter. Thanks for stopping by. As always - Have fun. |
